MEET MAZEN, OUR VICE PRESIDENT.

Mazen is a Vice President with Optum Ventures. He is involved in all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio company support.

Prior to joining Optum Ventures, Mazen served as a Senior M&A Analyst at UnitedHealth Group, where he focused on enterprise-wide transaction execution and strategy. In this position, he completed several large-scale acquisitions, including the $13+ billion acquisition of Change Healthcare (NASDAQ: CHNG).

Mazen holds a B.S. in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, where he also served as President of the largest finance-focused organization on campus and as Portfolio Manager with the David S. Kidwell Funds Enterprise, a $50 million student-led public equities and debt investment fund.
