Before Optum Ventures, Mike was a principal with PJC, an early-stage venture capital firm where he supported technology companies aiming to redefine legacy industries such as health care. Over the years, Mike has worked closely with many entrepreneurs across all stages, helping transform ideas on a napkin to managing large operations that span coast-to-coast. Mike has also helped scale many different business models including software, consumer, tech-enabled service, and frontier technology companies. Mike was a member of EY’s Transaction Advisory Services Group where he worked with companies of various sizes, from Fortune 500s to startups. Mike graduated summa cum laude from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a second degree in Global Sustainability, accompanied by a minor in Economics. Mike passed all three levels of the CFA exam in his first attempt and is a member of the Dana Farber Leadership Council.
