MEET SAM, OUR ANALYST.

Sam is a Senior Analyst with Optum Ventures. He is involved in all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio company support. Prior to Optum Ventures, Sam’s interest in the healthcare system began with research in conjunction with Hennepin County Medical Center on utilization among Spanish-speaking patients and internship experience in the biotechnology investment banking group at Piper Sandler.

Sam graduated from Princeton University in 2021 with a B.A. in Economics.
