In 2014, CEO and co-founder Andrew Le was on his ER rotation in medical school witnessing person after person checking into the emergency room because of what they found online, typically coming in either way too early or way too late. After watching a personal example play out with his own father, Andrew became obsessed with fixing the front door of health care (the internet) and started Buoy Health.
Buoy Health’s A.I. health assistant helps consumers know what to do from the moment they get sick.
Buoy’s algorithm analyzes thousands of real-world data points drawn from the same medical literature physicians study, in order to resemble the dynamic and nuanced experience of chatting with a doctor.
